I haven't written a journal entry for a while because I haven't felt ok about the work I've done to back it up. I've been working on this project for quite a while and will continue to do so for as long as it enthuses me. I have decided to create a whole new world, where I am then free to invent everything that goes on in the world. The creatures, plants, rules, culture etc. I do have an Atlas map but it isn't ready to be displayed yet. I will endevour to post it as sson as it is presentable as my tutor is encouraging me to get it finished and put up on the wall in my studio space. I've started a project on dragons. I'm doing lots of watercolour and Acrylic ink works of various dragons. I really hate doing the backgrounds though but I ought to get into backgrounds as otherwise the dragon looks a little bit lost on a white piece of paper. I'm trying to combine dragons with 2 philisophical ideas; one being 'Good' and 'Evil' how do we decide what's good and evil, how do we judge it? And two being Plato's theory of the forms which I'm applying to dragons. If you don't know what the theory of the forms is is very basically how do we recognise something and categorise what it is. Hello, this is the first Journal entry I've made on here. Just saying that I have just finished my last first year assesment at university so now I have loads more time to upload some more work on here. I've decided to spend some more time with my camera just to mess around with it and learn a few things so here are the results. :)
